Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
This Website Is Not Therapy
The content on this website is general information about the practice and about mental health. It is not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care, and it is not tailored to your situation.
Browsing this site, sending us an email, or booking a consultation does not create a therapist–client relationship. That relationship begins only after a consultation, a mutual decision to work together, and a signed informed-consent agreement.
Not for Emergencies
This website and the client portal are not monitored continuously and must not be used in an emergency. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
Eligibility & Scope of Services
The Outpost provides telehealth-only therapy to adults 18 and older located in Utah. Services are provided by Madison, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Utah State License #13412574-3501.
Fees, Scheduling & Cancellations
- Individual session (50 minutes): $135
- Initial 15-minute consultation: free
The practice is private-pay and out-of-network with insurance; superbills are available so you can seek reimbursement from your insurer. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged the full session fee. Under the No Surprises Act you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges — one is provided when you schedule services, and you may also request one at any time.
These figures summarize the practice’s standard fees. For clients of the practice, the signed intake and consent documents control if they differ from this page.
Client Portal Access
If you are invited to the client portal, your sign-in credentials are personal to you. You are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend portal access where reasonably necessary for security. Use of the portal is also governed by the Privacy Policy, the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, and your signed consent documents.
Intellectual Property
The content of this website — text, design, and logo — belongs to The Outpost. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes; any other use requires permission.
Third-Party Services & Links
Scheduling on this site is provided by Cal.com, and some pages link to external resources. Those services and sites are governed by their own terms and policies, and a link does not imply endorsement.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
This website is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its content fits your particular situation. To the extent permitted by law, The Outpost is not liable for damages arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits the professional obligations owed to clients under a signed treatment agreement.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, and any dispute arising from them belongs in the courts of Utah.
Changes to These Terms
If we change these terms, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
